Will President of the United States, Donald Trump, show up at UFC 322 in New York City this weekend (Nov. 15, 2025)? Not this time, according to UFC CEO, Dana White.
According to his good friend (White), Trump won’t be able to make it to Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“President Trump is one of those guys that loves to support sports,” White told FOX Sports Australia, before adding, “No, he won’t be here at this event.”
This is one of those times where it’s interesting to look at UFC’s new sponsor, Polymarket, which is a prediction market betting app that lets you gamble on pretty much anything happening in the world. For example, you could have bet on Trump coming to UFC 322. Indeed, back on Nov. 10, the market said there was a 72 percent chance Trump would attend. That dropped down to 25 percent where it’s been until White’s FOX Sports Australia interview dropped the odds to 2 percent.
Why isn’t Trump attending?
We’d say he has his hands full at the moment dealing with fallout from the government shutdown, a potential war with Venezuela, and new Epstein e-mails. His last sporting appearance at a Washington Commanders game — the first time in years a sitting president attended a regular season game — didn’t go over well with the crowd, who showered the sitting president with boos.
Trump also got some boos in 2019 when he showed up at UFC 244 in New York City to see Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal compete for the BMF belt (more on that here). But, since then, UFC’s fanbase has warmed up to Trump when he decides to catch the fights in person. He got lots of cheers at UFC 295, UFC 299 and UFC 302 as he ran for a second term, and then showed up a week after his 2024 election win for a victory lap at UFC 309 … once again inside the iconic Madison Square Garden.
The last time Trump showed up for a UFC event was UFC 316 in Newark, N.J., to watch Merab Dvalishvili put another stomp on Sean O’Malley (re-live that here). Will the next time not be until June when the massive UFC White House card goes down?
