Kiwi Slice?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Dan Hooker loves violence and fighting so much that he created a literal backyard fighting tournament featuring Super Heavyweights, with the winner receiving $50,000.

Yep, this chaos went down in his actual backyard in Auckland, New Zealand.

The whole hour-long slugfest is up on TheMacLife YouTube channel, but before you dive into watching massive Kiwis rearrange each other’s faces, here are the rules.

It was a 32-man tournament featuring only Super Heavyweights. Rounds were one minute, with a three-second knockdown rule—if you hit the dirt and didn’t get up by two, you’re done. There was also a two-knockdown rule: get dropped twice, and it’s over.

If the brawl lasted the full minute, three judges scored it.

Straight up, this tournament was fantastic. Nonstop action, tons of knockouts, and it was fast—30 fistfights crammed into under an hour. Oh, and the winner? He sealed the deal with a stoppage.

At the end, Hooker gave the fighters a shout-out:

“Thanks for coming. The cops have been over here, knocking on my door, thinking we’re acting like [bad word], but they don’t understand the knuckle game, and there’s nothing but respect here,” Hooker said. “Now get the hell out of my house.”

Of course, backyard fighting is looked down upon by some, and “The Hangman” caught some flak for it by “boxing heads,” but the UFC fighter brushed it off.

“Once you watch the whole thing, I think then people will really have to eat their own words and shut up because they’ll see how cool it was, they’ll see how much respect there was,”’ he said.

R.I.P. Kimbo Slice.
