It was a full moon in “Music City.”
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Derrick Lewis notched his 16th knockout, extending his all-time record, when he stopped Tallison Teixeira in 35 seconds at UFC Nashville last night (Sat., July 12, 2025) inside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee (watch highlights).
Nowadays, Lewis continues to one-up his post-fight celebrations, and he cranked the dial to 11 at UFC Nashville.
First, he did his signature ground celebration, then got up and shot an air bow and arrow (a nod to Israel Adesanya’s knockout of Alex Pereira). Next, he took off his fight shorts—a recurring move for reasons unknown.
Not done yet, he sprinted to Teixeira’s corner, mimicked a dog marking its territory, and waved goodbye to the coaches, whom he believed were trash-talking all week. After that, he told UFC CEO Dana White he wanted to speak with U.S. President Donald Trump. Then, he tossed his fight shorts and protective cup into the crowd before finally mooning the audience.

Not gonna lie, the reaction to seeing “The Black Beast’s” butt is a bit questionable, but who am I to judge?

So, yeah, Lewis’ UFC Nashville post-fight antics were next-level, and it seems he’s determined to keep outdoing himself every time.
