Jon Jones may not be willing to fight Tom Aspinall in the cage, but he’s having a great time fighting Hasbulla in Thailand.
ALF Reality is The Ultimate Fighter we never had. The Russian TUF clone is held in an exotic location, pays big bucks for top name coaches, and isn’t afraid to have a little fun (or a few brawls). ALF execs also made the no-brainer decision to have Russian social media personality Hasbulla on the show, where he apparently pummels Jones daily.
Early footage of the two had Jones gently swinging Hasbulla around and breaking bread with the 3’ 5” star. That’s nice and all, but Hasbulla made his name by sucker punching people and we want to see some of that. Now clips are trickling out of the two rough housing.
“Oh man, me and Hasbulla have been having a great time,” Jones told Red Corner MMA in a recent interview. “We fight almost every single day, right now I’ve got a bloody lip, he may have kicked me in the mouth. But we have good times.”
As for Jones’ thoughts on Hasbulla’s skills?
“Absolutely very strong, very strong,” Jones said. “And he knows how to fight. Yeah, we have fun.”
Will fans ever have fun watching Jon Jones fight in the octagon again? “Bones” is sounding pretty committed to being semi-retired. He told a Russian training partner he wouldn’t fight again, but then hedged a bit when responding to a hater on X (formerly Twitter).

“I don’t know if I wanna call it retired,” Jones wrote. “I feel like I’ll always have an ability to pop out and show em.”
That certainly doesn’t bode well for anyone hoping Jones might pop out soon to show Tom Aspinall, who is 560 days into his interim heavyweight title reign.
We’ll keep you updated on all of Jon’s hijinx in Thailand and any other statements he makes on fighting again (or not).
