UFC Vegas 108 went down this past weekend (Sat., Aug. 2, 2025) inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, which saw Tatsuro Taira submit Hyun Sung Park via neck crank (highlights), while Chris Duncan defeated Mateusz Rebecki via unanimous decision. In further action, Neil Magny defeated Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos via technical knockout in round two (see it again here).

Who He Should Face Next: Amir Albazi
Taira had himself a near-perfect performance and win last night against Park, but I don’t think it will sway matchmakers from not re-booking him against Albazi, who bowed out of the fight due to an illness. Albazi is ranked No. 4, so if Taira wants to work his way toward a title shot, taking him out would be a great step toward that goal. I get he wants to cut the line after his big win, but I just don’t see that happening.

Who He Should Face Next: Mike Davis
Duncan upped his win streak to three in a row — 5-1 overall under UFC’s banner — so he is making great strides toward a Top 15 spot. I wouldn’t mind seeing him next fight Davis, who is on a similar quiet run, going 5-2 under UFC’s banner. He was last seen knocking out Mitch Ramirez via flying knee last month (see it here), so It would be a great matchup to see who takes a big step in their mixed martial arts (MMA) careers.

Winner: Esteban Ribovics
Who He Should Face Next: Manuel Torres
After having his three-fight win streak snapped in his last bout, Ribovics came back with a great performance against Elves Brener to best him on all of the judges scorecards. Up next, a fight against Torres sounds like a fun night at the office for all parties involved, fight fans included. Torres is 4-1 inside the Octagon, and the Mexican-born fighter has earned finishes in 15 of his 16 victories, including four under UFC’s banner. This fight has fireworks written all over it.

Winner: Karol Rosa
Who She Should Face Next: Miesha Tate
Rosa continued her streak of “win one, lose one,” which has been going on since 2021, equating to a 5-4 record during that span. She is back in the win column after defeating Nora Cornolle via unanimous decision, but let’s not start feeding her the cream of the crop just yet until she starts winning on a more consistent basis. That’s why a fight against Tate might be good for her. Tate is coming off a loss to Yana Santos earlier this year, so she is need of a win if she wants to keep her career going. For Rosa, a victory over a former world champion could start getting her closer to the Top 5.

Who He Should Face Next: Chris Curtis
Magny snapped his two-fight skid with a great stoppage victory over Zaleski. With 35 fights inside the Octagon, there aren’t a ton of fresh matchups available for Magny, but Curtis is a man he has yet to face. Curtis recently snapped his own two-fight losing streak, defeating Max Griffin last month, so he and Magny are in the same boat.

Winner: Kevin Vallejos
Who He Should Face Next: Steven Nguyen
Vallejos extended his win streak to five straight, two inside the Octagon, following his unanimous decision victory over Danny Silva. The surging Featherweight is off to a fine start to his career, and he has shown promise to be a future contender (as does Nguyen). “The Ninja” is coming off a technical knockout win over Mohammad Yahya as a result of an eye injury. That said, that fight should’ve been over way before that after he dropped his foe a record-setting six times before the stoppage.
