Tennessee Athletic Commission (TAC) handed out 24 medical suspensions in the aftermath of UFC Nashville this past weekend (Sat., July 12, 2025) inside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, with three fighters receiving six-month suspensions.
These include Kennedy Nzechukwu, who was heel-hooked by Valter Walker; Junior Tafa, who was dominated and submitted by Tuco Tokkos; and Mike Davis, who knocked out Mitch Ramirez in the second round.

Derrick Lewis: suspended seven days.
Tallison Teixeira: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Gabriel Bonfim: suspended 30 days with 14 days no contact.
Stephen Thompson: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Steve Garcia: suspended 30 days with 14 days no contact.
Calvin Kattar: suspended 30 days with 14 days no contact.
Morgan Charriere: suspended 30 days with 14 days no contact.
Nate Landwehr: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Vitor Petrino: suspended seven days.
Austen Lane: suspended seven days.
Tuco Tokkos: suspended 30 days with 14 days no contact.
Junior Tafa: suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician.
Chris Curtis: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Max Griffin: suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact.
Jake Matthews: suspended seven days.
Chidi Njokuani: suspended seven days.
Eduarda Moura: suspended seven days.
Lauren Murphy: suspended 30 days with 14 days no contact.
Valter Walker: suspended seven days.
Kennedy Nzechukwu: suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician.
Mike Davis: suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician with 30 days no contact.
Mitch Ramirez: suspended 45 days with no contact 30 days.
Fatima Kline: suspended seven days.
Melissa Martinez: suspended 60 days with 45 days no contact.
Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
