Crosbie, 35, got obliterated by an illegal knee to the face, resulting in a point deduction for Taiyilake. Unfortunately, Crosbie was not afforded his full five minutes of recovery time and stumbled back into action, where he was summarily stopped by the 24 year-old “Super Saiyan.”
After the fight, things went from bad to worse.
“No doctor checked on me after the fight,” Crosby wrote on Instagram. “No brain scan organized. No concussion test or questions asked how I was doing, etc. No medication given even though I have major concussion and whiplash. Just stitched up and f*cked in a taxi and good luck.”
“Happened to me against Joel Alvarez,” former UFC lightweight, Mark Diakiese, added. “You’re left standing alone, no one speaking up for you. It cuts deep!”
“Nobody gives a bollox,” Crosby replied. “It’s a sick one yeah. Put our lives on the line every time and to be treated like a dog is just disgraceful behavior.”
“Anyone with a f*cking braincell can see in this clip I’m distorted from the knee with blood in my eyes and clearly shouldn’t be making decisions that quick,” Crosby said. “Makes me sick honestly. Welcome to the big leagues.”
UFC serves as its own regulatory body when traveling to locations that do not have a formal oversight committee and follows the policies and procedures put in place by Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). That can lead to the occasional breach of protocol, even at the highest level.
Crosbie stands at 0-3 after signing with the promotion back in summer 2023.
