Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight sluggers Gregory Rodrigues vs. Brunno Ferreira will rematch this weekend (Sat., March 7, 2026) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, for UFC 326.
UFC loves to book a random rematch nowadays, but this one feels more appropriate than most. For those who don’t remember, Rodrigues had already built some hype when was supposed to fight Brad Tavares back in Jan. 2023; however, an injury to the Hawaiian derailed that contest. Filling in for him would be Ferreira in his Octagon debut, and “The Hulk” scored a significant upset via first round knockout.
Since then, Rodrigues has won five of six and generally has the stronger resume between the two. Ferreira has continued to be an electric finisher, however, and he rides a three-fight win streak of his own into this do-over versus “Robocop.”
Let’s take a closer look at the betting odds and strategic keys for each athlete:

“Robocop” is a definite powerhouse who sometimes strays from the puncher to brawler category. Rodrigues can jab well or slip-and-rip, but he’s also prone to over-swinging in pursuit of that big knockout. Similarly, he’s a jiu-jitsu black belt with quality wrestling, yet that’s no guarantee he’ll actually bother to grapple. On the plus side, he’s stopped 11 foes via knockout overall.
This is a very winnable fight for Rodrigues if he avoids making the same mistakes. Ferreira is deceptively crafty in his wildness, and Rodrigues ran right at him like he was invincible. Hopefully, Ferreira’s monster left hand taught him a lesson he hasn’t yet forgotten ahead of this do-over.
Rodrigues doesn’t need to run right into the shorter man’s range. He can work the jab and extend this fight a bit, as we tend to see Ferreira slow more severely than Rodrigues even if both lose a bit of power after the first. Ferreira gets very wild with his offense, so another great option would be trying to catch a kick or time him while off-balance for an easy takedown.
If Rodrigues is a little more defensively responsible, he should be able to demonstrate the gap in overall skill.

”The Hulk” is a unique Middleweight. Fairly short for the division at 5’10,” Ferreira is nevertheless a threat at distance because of his ability to explode forward with surprising combinations. He might just jump into a spin kick or blast into a double leg — all these threats have to be respected, because Ferreira doesn’t throw a single shot with less than maximum power.
Writing a keys to victory section for Ferreira implies he has a process, and I’m not sure that’s the case. As far as I can tell, he’s just a fast, powerful athlete with a random collection of tools that he throws at his opponents. For better or worse, Ferreira is built to go hard until somebody falls down.
Ultimately, I’d like to see Ferreira trying to draw Rodrigues into shots. Rodrigues is going to walk forward, so why not get a little evasive and try to set a trap for “Robocop?”

Rodrigues vs. Ferreira Prediction
Look, this fight remains a bit of a crapshoot. We’re talking about a pair of heavy hitters who prioritize offense above all else. Maybe one of ‘em shows up with wrestling shoes, but odds are strong that they stand and bang until one one remains standing. It’s fair to say both men have the power to stop the other even if only Ferreira has proven that fact beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Keeping all that in mind, Rodrigues is the “better” fighter. His wrestling and grappling are superior, and his boxing is tighter. Generally, his game is better put together and will work against good fighters more of the time. Perhaps Ferreira is just a uniquely bad style matchup for him, but Rodrigues should win the fight a little more often than not.
