Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn came face-to-face one more time earlier today (Tues., April 22, 2025) from inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, during their “Grand Arrivals” (video replay here) ahead of their boxing match this Sat. night (April 26) on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV).
Benn, who is the WBA Continental (Europe) welterweight champion, will be moving up two weight classes in an attempt to dethrone Eubank Jr., who is the current IBO Middleweight champion of the world. Benn is currently undefeated at 23-0 with 14 knockouts and is considered one of the hardest hitters in his division.
As for Eubank Jr., he won the vacant IBO middleweight title in Oct. 2024 by knocking out Kamil Szeremeta. With his win over “The Destroyer,” Eubank Jr. is eying a big-money showdown against Canelo Alvarez, who is currently in line to face William Scull on May 3 in Riyadh.
Benn and Eubank Jr. absolutely do not like each other, with the two men coming face-to-face on two separate occasions prior to today. During their first heated staredown, Eubank Jr. smacked Benn with an egg, which caused a raucous and cost him a cool $130,000 in fines. During a sit-down with Piers Morgan, the two men had to once again be separated to prevent a scuffle. That’s why in their most recent mean-mugging opportunity, the two combatants were kept at a safe distance.

With only four more sleeps from fight night, the tension is already built-in for what promises to be an all-out barn-burner between two of the most talented fighters in the business, with both men promising a “Fight of the Year” outing.
