Conor McGregor is sharing his tough immigration policy for Ireland should he manage to become president of the country. The only problem? If he were judged based on his own standards, he would be deported too.
During a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, McGregor applied his immigrant checklist to Rosie O’Donnell, who left the U.S. after Donald Trump won the presidency again. O’Donnell is currently applying for Irish citizenship, citing her heritage.
But just having Irish ancestors isn’t enough to stay in Ireland, according to “The Notorious.”
“What is her criminal history? Has she got a criminal background?” McGregor asked. “How did she enter the country? Did she enter the country illegally? Has she assimilated with our community? Does she hold our beliefs? Is she an upstanding member of our community? Or would she be?”

“If she is not, well then she’s got to go,” Conor concluded. “You ain’t got to go home, but you got to get the hell out of here.”
Funny enough, McGregor might not pass his own standard, considering he has an assault conviction from punching an elderly man in a pub in 2019, and a lesser known assault causing harm offense from 2009. He was also charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony criminal mischief in New York City over the infamous Khabib bus incident, but pleaded that down to disorderly conduct.
He’s also been found guilty in a civil court of sexual assault, although that case is currently under appeal. During that trial he admitted to using cocaine.
This part may just be nitpicky, but he also has at least 18 driving offense convictions which include fines, disqualifications, and a three-year driving ban.
McGregor has also been linked to the Kinahan drug cartel multiple times over the years. His pub The Black Forge Inn has become a known gathering spot for the members of the gang, some of which also play on the pub’s sponsored soccer team.
So what now, Ireland? Should McGregor be deported?
