Boxing’s weekend takeover will continue later tonight (Sat., May 3, 2025) at “Fatal Fury” LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the legendary Canelo Alvarez makes his Riyadh Season debut in a super middleweight title fight against undefeated Cuban challenger William Scull.
Canelo, who is looking to defend his super middleweight crown for the ninth-straight time, will be kicking off his four-fight deal with Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh this weekend and is expected to walk away with around $80 million. That’s a huge payday, but it will be up to Canelo to once again deliver the goods and cash in as a massive -3000 betting favorite.
Luckily, Saturday’s “Fatal Fury” card from Riyadh will feature more outside of the main event. Former super middleweight title challenger Jaime Munguia will be back in action when he tries to avenge an upset knockout loss in a rematch with Bruno Sarace. Boxing veteran Badou Jack will also make an appearance as he puts his WBC cruiserweight title on the line against Noel Mikaelyan. Not to mention the anticipated pro boxing debut of Mexican prospect Marco Verde.
