Andrey Pulyaev turned in the biggest win of his MMA career earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 2, 2025) at UFC Vegas 108 LIVE on ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the Russian striker laid waste to fellow middleweight Nick Klein with a blistering second-round TKO (body kick and punches).
This was a pretty even fight when it came to pre-fight betting odds and for good reason. Both Pulyaev and Klein threw up duds in their official UFC debuts so the verdict was still out as to how good they really are. Saturday night was a great chance for both middleweights to shake off their debut loss and make a statement at 185 pounds.
Klein came out firing like a bat out of hell. The submission specialist landed some good strikes on the feet before using his wrestling and taking Pulyaev down to the mat. Pulyaev knew Klein was going to come out hot and implement his grappling so he just needed to survive the first five minutes.
Once the second round started Pulyaev was able to take control. He utilized his long range strikes and timed a perfect kick to the body. It hurt Klein bad and allowed Pulyaev to move in for a huge left hand. Klein fell to the canvas and Pulyaev put the finishing touches on his TKO performance.
