Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm will challenge Stephanie Han for the WBA lightweight title in the co-main event of the Amanda Serrano vs. Erika Cruz-led boxing card on Sat., Jan. 3, 2026 from inside Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The event will air exclusively on DAZN.
“I feel great,” Holm said in today’s release. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to fight for a fourth weight division title and add to my legacy. I’m thankful for MVP and this opportunity and look forward to fighting in Puerto Rico, an island with a deep boxing culture.”
Unlike most female fights, Holm vs. Han will feature three-minute rounds.
“From El Paso to the world stage, now I get to fight Holly Holm, in Puerto Rico next to the island’s greatest boxer in Amanda Serrano,” Han said. “Every sacrifice has led to this moment, and I’m grateful and excited for the opportunity. Equal opportunity at that, with three-minute rounds.”
Other featured matchups for the Jan. 3 fight card include Yankiel “El Doctorcito” Rivera vs. Jonathan “Bomba” Gonzalez, Jan Paul Rivera vs. Alfredo “El Salsero” Cruz, Henry “Moncho” Lebron vs. Juan “Johnny Blaze” Tapia, and Chris “The Punisher” Echevarria vs. Gabriel Bernardi, among others.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (Nov. 7) at 9 a.m. ET on prticket.com.
“Holly Holm is back challenging for a boxing world title, 12 years after leaving the sport and doing it with MVP,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of MVP. “She is facing a multi-faceted athlete in Stephanie Han who is a champion, a mother, and a police officer. And they are doing it with three-minute rounds like the men.”
