A fun welterweight scrap is headed to NOLA.

MMAmania.com confirmed with multiple sources today that Season 8 Contender Seriesstandout Islam Dulatov has been rebooked against the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) vet Adam Fugitt for UFC 318 on July 19, 2025, inside Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The pair of Welterweights were supposed to collide at UFC Seattle, however, Dulatov pulled out with an injury.

Dulatov (11-1) scored a UFC contract when he destroyed Vanilto Antuneswith a brutal elbow in under three minutes on Season 8 of Contender Series (watch highlights).

“The Ripper” is riding a 10-fight winning streak with his lone loss coming in his professional debut back in 2019, and holds a 100 percent finish rate with six knockouts and five finishes.

For what it’s worth, Dualtov is a former Versace model.

Fugitt (10-4) saved his UFC career in his last outing when he defeated Josh Quinlan via split decision.

The 36-year-old has alternated wins and losses in his UFC stint thus far, going 2-2, with his two losses coming against top prospect Michael Morales (in his debut) and Mike Malott.

Fugitt holds a 70 percent finish rate with five knockouts and three submissions.

So far, only two other fights have been announced for UFC 318: Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier for the “BMF” and Amanda Ribas vs. Tabatha Ricci.
