Last week, the story that got the most eyeballs was Sean O’Malley showing off a ridiculous, eight-figure forehead tattoo that reads “Doing Well.”
The tattoo ended up being fake.

For whatever reason, UFC’s Jon Anik continued to push the narrative that the 2026 UFC White House card might have 6-7 title fights on it … which is cool in concept but not realistic.
Remember when the promotion stacked UFC 300, and then cards were weak for months to come?

Fighter ‘Comment of the Week’ — He said what?!?!?!
Ian Garry doesn’t want to hear anyone’s excuses when he beats Islam Makhachev.
“When I beat him, I have beaten the greatest pound-for-pound fighter on the planet right now. Your excuses are all finished. There is none. Don’t look for them, don’t pick on them. I’ll be the number one pound-for-pound on the planet. I’ll be the champion of the world and then we can start the aggressive defenses.”

Dominick Reyes vs. Johnny Walker could be the funniest UFC fight of all time, given that both of their chins are gone
This Past Week in MMA History:
The highly anticipated rematch between Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez went down at UFC 155, and it turned out to be a one-sided beatdown.
UFC 79: Nemesis – Dec. 29, 2007
In the main event of UFC 79, Georges St-Pierre took out Matt Hughes in their trilogy, submitting him in the second round, basically ending Hughes’ time at the top of the division.
In the co-main event, Chuck Liddell and Wanderlei Silva finally collided after years in the making — and while they weren’t in their primes, it was still a pretty legendary fight.
UFC 232: Jones vs. Gustafsson 2 – Dec. 29, 2018
It was five years too late, but Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson finally rematched in the main event of UFC 232, and it definitely wasn’t as close as their first fight.
In the co-main event, Amanda Nunes knocked out Cris Cyborg to become a champ-champ.
In the main card opener, Alexander Volkanovski stopped Chad Mendes to set up a date with Jose Aldo.
UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey – Dec. 30, 2016
In the UFC 207 main event, Amanda Nunes retired Ronda Rousey in just 48 seconds.
UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem – Dec. 30, 2016
Alistair Overeem made his highly anticipated UFC debut at UFC 141 — and he made an immediate impact by stopping Brock Lesnar in the first round. (Lesnar retired after the fight).
Also on the card, was Johny Hendricks sparking Jon Fitch in 12 seconds.
UFC 195: Lawler vs. Condit – Jan. 2, 2016
Everyone tends to think Robbie Lawler vs. Rory MacDonald is one of the best fights of all time — which is definitely is but Lawler vs. Carlos Condit might be better.
UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier – Jan. 3, 2015
All of the trash talk and pure hatred led to UFC 182 when Jon Jones finally took on Daniel Cormier — and Jones won via unanimous decision
