Better to be safe than sorry …
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) all-action Lightweight sluggers, Mateusz Rebecki vs.Chris Duncan, as well as Esteban Ribovics vs. Elvis Brener, all beat the life out of each other at UFC Vegas 108 last night (Sat., Aug. 2, 2025) inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Their awesome, blood-letting efforts earned them each a $50,000 “Fight of the Night” bonuses … and a rideshare to the local “Sin City” hospital.
Indeed, UFC officials confirmed to MMAmania.com that Rebecki, Duncan, Ribovics and Brener were taken to a local hospital for precautionary CT scans of their heads and faces following their bloody fights.
Results of their respective scans are pending.

Duncan (14-2) secured a unanimous decision over Rebecki (20-3), extending his win streak to three fights, including finishes overBolaji OkiandJordan Vucenic(watch highlights).
Depending on how the year concludes, Rebecki could earn another “Fight of the Year” award to display on his mantle, but his last six rounds inside UFC’s Octagon have been very grueling.
The Polish fighter has alternated wins and losses over his last four bouts.

Ribovics (15-2), meanwhile, returned to the win column with a unanimous decision victory over Brener. The 29-year-old Argentinian has now earned “Fight of the Night” honors in three consecutive fights.
Brener (16-6) has dropped three straight fights, including losses to Myktybek Orolbai and Joel Alvarez(watch highlights). The Brazilian holds a 3-3 record inside the Octagon.
