The Sciatic Nerve divides into Tibial and Common Peroneal Nerves in the Popliteal fossa (Diamond shaped depression in the back of the knee)
Around 2:54 of the 1st round, Chito lands a kick which doesn’t connect clean but causes great damage.
The nerve most likely affected was the Common Peroneal Nerve.
We saw that on Cejudo vs DJ.
Neuropathy: Damage to nerves outside the brain and Spinal Cord.
The nerves lose their function temporarily, muscles go into paralysis because of that, hence Sean wasn’t able to stand.
His foot dropped a few seconds after the kick as well.
